Sounds like he freaked because he didn’t realize it was something more serious than just dry humping a friend… You need to talk to him. Be honest about your feelings. If he doesn’t feel the same, it will hurt and it will suck, but at least you’ll know. If you still want to be friends, regardless of him not returning your feelings, make sure he knows that too. Don’t let a friendship be ruined because of this.

TALK TO HIM. If he tries to avoid you, don’t let him. He can’t run away for forever. Two months is more than enough time to let him have space. You have a right to talk to him, you deserve that as his friend.

I think you’ll be fine. The nerves will be there, but you’ll figure it out. It’s not as scary as it seems. Once you start going, it’ll get a lot easier.

Dry mouth will not be a problem. If you feel it coming on though, drink some water before, let it stay in your mouth for a few moments before swallowing. Your body will naturally produce the saliva it needs once you start relaxing and feeling better about what you’re doing.

When the nerves go away, so does the dry mouth, and the nerves will go away when you realize there’s nothing to be nervous about. 🙂

Try dropping some hints with her. See if she would be into it? No one is 100% straight (my personal opinion), but she might not be into it. That’s fair. But try something before it drives you crazy.

If not her, then you’ll find someone else you like eventually and you can test out the lady loving waters with her. It’s okay to be attracted to a girl. It’s okay to be attracted to a guy. It’s okay to be attracted to PEOPLE. 🙂

If you feel ready and you have someone you want to be with, then it’s your choice. Go ahead. It’s about you being mentally and emotionally prepared to take that step.

17 is young, yes, but a very common age to have sex for the first time. So don’t worry about what you’re “supposed" to do and do what feels right.

Do what you want, but always ask yourself if this is something you’d still feel good about afterwards. That’s the key. Would you regret rushing into it? If yes, then start up a wonderfully intimate relationship with a vibrator (or three) until you’re ready for something more. 😉

Don’t let your hormones cloud your judgment. Easier said than done, I know, but the best thing you can do is find someone that you want to be with, someone that you want a relationship with, not just an available body to have sex with.

If you go looking for pure sex, my guess is that you will probably regret it. (It’s not all it’s cracked up to be when it’s not with the right person. Know that.)
